A new special-interest publication designed to help manage, fight, and prevent heart disease is being launched by Meredith Corporation. The title,
Heart-Healthy Living, will be published
quarterly, beginning this spring, with a cover price of $5.99. The first issue covers topics including "heart-healthy" restaurants and food products, as well as healthy ways to end a meal. The company
said traditional health magazines are targeted specifically to either men or women, and focus on physical activity. She said that
Heart-Healthy Living is designed for men, women, and families,
and focuses more on nutrition.
