The New York Daily News is padding its executive team with two new senior additions recruited away from the rival
New York Times by
News CEO Marc Kramer. On Wednesday, the
News announced that Guy D. (Doc) Holliday has been named its new senior vice president of advertising operations. Holliday previously held a succession of management positions at the
Times since 1996. Also joining the
News is Rhonda Novick, who was named senior vice president of circulation. Most recently, she served as vice president of consumer marketing for the
Times, where she has worked since 1998.
