'Time' To Focus On African Continent With 'Time Africa'

Time is partnering with Global Venture Partners to launch a digital and live events platform called Time Africa.

The product will debut in September at Africa.time.com. It will be available in English and French.

In 2023, Time inaugurated the  TIME100 Impact Awards Africa, which was hosted in Rwanda.

“Africa is going through massive transformation across business, culture, and society, and now more than ever it is critical that the continent has a dedicated platform within Time to spotlight its growth and impact on the world stage,” says Josh Wilson, managing director of Global Venture Partners.

Time Africa will be distributed in more than 50 countries throughout the continent, from Algeria to South Africa.

“With the launch of Time Africa, we are continuing our commitment to reach new audiences, further our presence and coverage of the continent’s leaders, visionaries, and changemakers, and shine a spotlight on the stories that matter most,” says Jessica Sibley, chief executive officer of Time.
