The Hollywood Reporter (THR) has promoted its chief content offer David Katz to the title of editorial director.
Katz
will work closely with Maer Roshan, editor in chief, on editorial initiatives in digital, video, social, partnerships and events while steering THR’s editorial
department.
“Over the past two years, I’ve been continually impressed by Dave’s keen editorial talents, inside knowledge of the Hollywood ecosystem and his
bold, expansive vision,” says Roshan, to whom Katz will report. “I look forward to working with him to build on THR’s success while evolving the brand to meet the
demands of a new media moment.”
Katz joined THR in 2017 as executive editor, after serving at Esquire, Vanity Fair, and Time
Out. His writing has appeared in GQ, Men’s Journal, Food & Wine and other publications.
