One of the nation’s largest pizza chains is honoring
October’s National Pizza Month with a new football-centric ad campaign and promos for its Big Dinner Box.
This week the brand rolls out the new effort, starring Buffalo Bills quarterback
Josh Allen. In the TV spot, seen here, Allen is shown at home having a lot of difficulty saying Pizza Hut without shouting “Hut!”
as if in mid-NFL game.
The Big Dinner Box contains two medium one-topping pizzas, five breadsticks and eight boneless wings, starting at $19.99. The broadcast campaign also encourages viewers
to use code PEPSISETHUT to receive $2 off a two liter Pepsi.
Earlier this week, the brand also unveiled a new spot for its Crafted Flatzz, seen here, starring singer and rap star Anderson .Paak. In the ad, Paak is seen lying on what appears to be a psychiatrist’s couch. As he
discusses his identity crisis, and lack of childhood pizza parties, with the "doctor" (also played by Paak) he morphs into different personalities, such as a 1970s disco king and a long-haired rocker.
The doctor then diagnoses him with a “Crafted Flatzz deficiency.”
