
Tabor Communications Inc. (TCI) has named Alex
Woodie to as editorial director.
Previously, Woodie served as managing editor of TCI’s BigDATAwire. He will be charge of that title, along with AIwire, and QCwire and
will hold the title of managing editor of the flagship publication, HPCwire.
Woodie ran BigDATAwire for 12 years.
“I’ve made a lot of great connections over
this time and learned a lot about big data management and advanced analytics. Now as the AI revolution continues rolling forward, I’m excited to bring that knowledge to bear on my HPC analysis
and have a front-row seat to the events in the HPCwire editor’s chair," said Woodie.
Contributing Editor Ali Azhar has been promoted to managing editor of BigDATAwire. Azhar
had been covering analytics and related topics for several years.
Drew Jolly, who was TCI's assistant editor for the last four years, has been named managing editor of QCwire.
They join Jaime Hampton, who is managing editor of AIwire.
