Hearst Newspapers is pumping up its Capitol Confidential newsletter with AI-powered legislative intelligence provided by USLege. 

The new platform, called Capitol Confidential Pro, combines Albany statehouse reporting by the Times Union staff and USLege’s advanced workflow tools. It is available on a subscription basis.  

USLege tracks, analyzes and explains policy activity across all levels of government in real time for the use of government affairs professionals. 

The new Capitol Confidential Pro will deliver political reporting and advanced legislative intelligence to lawmakers, lobbyists, corporate teams and law firms.

The new platform debuted in New York State on Thursday and will expand to California in 2026.
