The Toronto Star has added two managing editors to its journalistic team.
Priya Ramanujam has
been promoted to the title of managing editor of engagement & newsroom development.
Ramanujam, who joined the Star in
2018, will oversee the Star’s digital operations and audience engagement strategies while continuing to lead newsroom development, hiring and
the Star’s internship program.
Renata D’Aliesio was named managing editor of news and will lead
the Star’s core daily news operation, overseeing the Star’s investigtions, politics and city news teams. . Previously, D’Aliesio worked for
the Globe and Mail.

and to this city,” says Nicole MacIntyre, editor in chief, the Toronto Star.
