He may live in a pineapple under the sea, but SpongeBob
SquarePants is making Burger King his home this holiday season.
The burger chain, in collaboration with Paramount Pictures, has launched a new limited-edition SpongeBob menu to celebrate
the Dec. 19 release of “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.”
Available beginning Dec. 2, the new menu includes SpongeBob's Krabby Whopper, a traditional Whopper with a
bright yellow square bun, which gets its hue from “natural spice.” The Mr. Krabs' Cheesy Bacon Tots are coin-shaped tater tots with cheese and bacon bits, all served in a treasure chest
carton. Patrick's Star-berry Shortcake Pie is a strawberry shortcake pie slice with pink star-shaped sprinkles, and the Pirate's Frozen Pineapple Float Icy is a frozen pineapple flavored beverage
topped with tropical flavor cold foam.

The Bikini Bottom Bundle contains all the aforementioned SpongeBob-themed items in a pineapple shaped “Under the Sea” box. Kids can get a
King Jr. meal featuring one of six collectible SpongeBob toys and a SpongeBob crown.
"Our long-standing partnership with Burger King has always been built on bold ideas and shared creativity
— but this SpongeBob campaign is next-level,” says Michelle Hagen, executive vice president of worldwide partnerships at Paramount Pictures. "We're diving deeper than ever into the world
of Bikini Bottom … It's the ultimate mash-up of imagination and innovation."
Social posts on Burger King’s Instagram and
other platforms teases the arrival of the SpongeBob menu, with an image of Bikini Bottom with a burger-shaped jellyfish background and the line “rrr ya ready, kids? We'll sea you
12.2.25.”
Burger King has revamped its app to include SpongeBob, enabling Royal Perks members to order with the cartoon sponge himself and access exclusive menu items. A BK x SpongeBob
pop-up experience will take place in Miami on Dec. 6.
