Chipotle has brought in a new batch of
athletes to honor with menu items and episodes of its “Unwrapped” video series, as a part of the chain’s Real Food for Real Athletes platform.
The Mexican grill late
last week announced five new American sports stars that comprise Team Chipotle 2026, along with their accompanying digital entrees.
The lineup includes: the Matthew Tkachuk Bowl, which has
double chicken, light brown rice, light tomatillo-red chili salsa, light sour cream and lettuce (67 grams of protein); the Brady Tkachuk Bowl that contains half chicken, half steak, white rice and
roasted chili-corn salsa (60 grams of protein); the Hilary Knight Burrito with white rice, pinto beans, fresh tomato salsa, cheese and guac (28 grams of protein); the Taylor Heise Tacos with soft
flour tortillas, chicken, fresh tomato salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, sour cream, cheese and lettuce (50 grams of protein); and the Red Gerard Bowl with chicken, extra white rice, tomatillo-red
chili salsa, cheese, sour cream and lettuce (48 grams of protein).

“While the path to greatness is different for each of these star athletes, Chipotle is consistently part of their
training regimen, providing easy access to real ingredients and high protein options,” says Stephanie Perdue, interim CMO. “We are honoring Team Chipotle by bringing back gold foil and
extending this moment of celebration to fans across the U.S.”
Perdue was named interim CMO last week following Chipotle’s announcement that CMO Chris Brandt had left the position
and a search had begun for his replacement.
Beginning Feb. 6 the chain will also bring back its gold foil while supplies last.
Chipotle's Real Food for Real Athletes platform
“focuses on helping athletes across all levels perform their best by providing nutrition through real food and fresh ingredients.”
New episodes of the brand’s Unwrapped
series, such as one with hockey player Hilary Knight, seen here, show the athletes discussing how they became successful. All episodes
run via the brand’s social media platforms and can also be seen here.
Professional golfers Max Homa and Maverick McNealy, along with U.S.
tennis player Taylor Fritz, are also members of Team Chipotle 2026.
