“With more than 3.5 million plays last year, Burrito Vault generated record-breaking engagement with
our fans,” said Stephanie Perdue, Chipotle interim CMO, in a release. “Bringing the game back for a third year allows us to build on that momentum while highlighting our clean protein as
more consumers prioritize protein-packed meals that don't compromise on quality.”
The chain will also waive delivery fees on all orders on April 2 placed through the Chipotle app or
online.
Qdoba is also commemorating National Burrito Day with a “Block the Burrito Hour” promotion. On April 2, Qdoba Rewards members will receive a free entrée with the
purchase of an entrée and a drink, with the offer sent directly to their Rewards Wallet. Rewards Gold Status members will receive a few extra days, until April 5, to redeem the offer.
The brand has also released a Block the Burrito Hour toolkit, which includes calendar invites, out-of-office messages and email templates in order to let “coworkers know you're stepping out
for a burrito break.”
