Copyright Office Eases Rule For Content Registration

The U.S. Copyright Office has published the final refined rule for its Group Registration of Updates to a News Website (GRNW) option the News/Media Alliance reports. Publications no longer have to cover a broad range of news on all subjects, opening the door for sports, finance and culture sites to register their works. Also, publishers can register large amounts of online content through a simple monthly application. The update is now effective.
