The Reader's Digest Association late Friday announced plans to buy recipe Web site and cooker community Allrecipes.com for $66 million. The deal is expected to close by the fourth quarter of this
year. The site will act as a portal for the food sites that Reader's Digest already operates, and its print magazine titles including
Taste of Home and
Light & Tasty.
