Monster Worldwide Inc., parent to Monster.com, Monday announced that it had bought Tickle Inc., which offers online personality and dating tests to help people find a match, in a deal valued at more
than $90 million.
Monster Worldwide, which expects the deal to add to earnings in 2005, said its purchase of the privately held company would expand its subscriber base, enhance its
career-related content and add more fuel to its viral marketing efforts, according to a Reuters report. Tickle, which was formerly known as Emode, earned around $25 million as of April 30.
