  • April 12, 2006
Search company Miva on Tuesday announced a global ad distribution deal with Data Depth, providers of iCopyright, an automated copyrighting technology designed to protect and monetize publishers' online content. Under the agreement, pay-per-click ads and Miva pay-per-call ads will be embedded in online content downloaded or e-mailed by readers, with a percentage of the revenues generated from the ads being paid to the publisher. iCopyright currently offers over 700 publications from publishers including the Associated Press, Reuters, UPI, Scripps, and Primedia, a service that enables fee collection from users who download or e-mail their Web-based content.
