A story in Wednesday's edition of
MediaDailyNews ("Nielsen, News Corp. Reach Accord, New Local People Meters Planned") incorrectly referred to Houston as one of the Nielsen's current local
people markets. That reference should have been to Detroit, which is one of nine markets deployed to date. They also include: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, San Francisco,
Boston and Washington, D.C. Nielsen will add Atlanta as its 10th local people meter market in July. Houston will likely be one of the next wave of local people markets Nielsen will introduce when it
unveils its local people meter expansion plans.
