The Oxygen network is turning to the reality genre as it looks toward next season. The network has ordered pilots for three potential half-hour reality shows: "Once More With Feeling," where people
turn momentous occasions (such as a proposal or pregnancy) into a Broadway-style musical; "Tease," where famous hair stylists compete against promising upstarts; and the reality/docu-soap "Capitol
Hill Girls," which follows young women of both major political parties working on Capitol Hill. Also in development is an animated series produced by Jennifer Love Hewitt called "Angry Little Girls."
Before the fate of the pilots is known, Oxygen has several other reality shows ready for launch this summer, including "The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency," where the famous
supermodel launches her own agency, and "Breaking Up with Shannen Doherty," where the famous actress acts as a hired gun and ends failing relationships.
