TiVo, the digital video recording service company, is offering its 4.4 million subscribers an advertising search option that enables consumers to access video from one to 60 minutes in length for
specific product information. The new service, called TiVo Product Watch, has some 100 advertisers signed on, including General Motors, Sony Pictures, Lending Tree, and Kraft Foods. Media agencies
including Starcom MediaVest Group, MindShare, Cmedia, BrightLine Partners, Interpublic Group, OMD, and The Richards Group have helped to encourage their clients to sign on to the new service including
developing pricing, said TiVo.
