PricewaterhouseCoopers Names New Global Media Chief

PricewaterhouseCoopers announced the appointment of senior partner R. Wayne Jackson as global leader of the firm's Entertainment and Media Practice. In his new role, Jackson will oversee PricewaterhouseCoopers' assurance, tax, and advisory work with many of the entertainment and media industry's leading companies. He will spearhead the PricewaterhouseCoopers Entertainment & Media Practice's business development, marketing, communications and knowledge management efforts. He will also serve as the firm's primary media spokesman and public speaker on entertainment and media issues, and he will head the editorial board for PricewaterhouseCoopers' annual Global Entertainment and Media Outlook, the industry's leading international market forecast. The next edition of Outlook will be released in late June. Jackson replaces outgoing Entertainment and Media Practice Global Leader Kevin Carton, who will retire from the firm on June 30.
