Report: Focus Media Execs Found Guilty Of Defrauding Sears, Universal, Others

Two former top executives of Santa Monica-based Focus Media Inc. - former Chairman-CEO Thomas Edward Rubin and former CFO Thomas Patrick Sullivan - Tuesday were found guilty by a federal jury of defrauding clients such as Sears, Roebuck & Co. and Universal Studios of more than $30 million in TV commercial time, reports Reuters. The executives reportedly took more than $45 million from clients, but used only $10 million to pay ABC, NBC and other radio and TV outlets.
