Search giant Google is currently running a test of ad-supported videos for premium content on Google Video. The ads will be 15- to-30-second post-roll spots, and advertisers will bid for the right to
display an ad before a specific piece of content. In addition to the post-roll spot, there will also be "persistent branding" in text and an icon above the video player. The user can click the text to
be taken to the advertiser's site.
