Merrill Lynch Revises Google Earnings Estimate Upward

Google's continued dominance in search Wednesday reportedly spurred Merrill Lynch to raise its second-quarter revenue and profit estimates for the company. The brokerage house now predicts Google revenue will total $1.64 billion, up from the previous estimate of $1.59 billion; profits are predicted to reach $2.18 a share, up from a prior estimate of $2.10, according to Reuters.
