British betting and gaming group GalaCoral has blocked U.S. citizens from placing bets on its Web sites. The move is a response to the "current uncertainty over the U.S. legal situation," says a
spokesman for privately held GalaCoral. The company reports that a small number of U.S. citizens have played bingo and poker on its Web site. Gala has not taken any bets on U.S. sporting events, and
does not advertise in the U.S.
