Web Spending In U.K. Surpasses Magazines, Outdoor

Online ad spending in the United Kingdom came to approximately £1.3 billion pounds (or $2.5 billion) last year, according to Ofcom, which regulates the U.K. communications industries. The agency also reported that Web spending surpassed outdoor advertising and consumer and business magazines last year, coming in fourth to newspapers, TV and direct mail.
