MediaCom U.S. announced yesterday that the Chicago franchisee group of Subway Restaurants has hired the agency to handle its media buying and planning business. This win is MediaCom's first local
assignment from Subway Restaurants; the agency has been the media agency of record for Subway Restaurants' national account since 2000.
Zenith Optimedia previously handled the account. MediaCom
will work with Fusion Idea Lab, a Chicago based creative agency, to implement a strategic marketing program. The assignment includes media planning and buying activities on a local level. Billings
were not disclosed.
