Margaret Lewis has been hired as executive vice president, U.S. head of communications planning for Universal McCann. She joins the IPG media company from WPP Group's Mediaedge:cia, where she was
director of communications planning. This is a new position at Universal McCann, and Lewis will be tasked with building and leading the company's nascent communications planning division. Prior to
Mediaedge:cia, Lewis spent the first 14 years of her career at Ketchum Advertising and Warwick Baker O'Neill, then joined Lowe & Partners in 1999.
