College sports network CSTV Networks is expanding beyond TV and the Web to the cell phone through a deal with Internet services firm VeriSign Inc. "CSTV 2 Go" will allow sports fans to receive news
alerts and obtain ringtones and wallpapers for about 100 schools, including the University of Southern California, Ohio State, and Florida State. The mobile alerts will encompass 15 mens' and womens'
sports and offer updates ranging from final scores to per inning or period. CSTV is charging $4 monthly for the mobile service, which is compatible with all major carriers. --Mark Walsh
