McDonald's Enlists AKQA For Global Digital Duties

Fresh off gaining Smirnoff as a client, interactive agency AKQA has been hired by fast-food giant McDonald's Corp. to develop its international digital marketing strategy. McDonald's adds to a growing lineup of global brands handled by AKQA including Nike, Coca-Cola, Microsoft and Visa. Earlier this month, the independent shop opened a branch in China to oversee Coke promotions for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. AKQA also operates offices in New York, Washington, D.C., London, and Singapore.
