Local weather information service WeatherBug is adding a series of new features, including a "youCaster" service that allows users to produce their own weather forecasts through an online tool for
editing video and audio. Weatherbug is also starting Block Party Chat, a community site for discussing national and local weather topics. For marketers, improved weather targeting capability on
WeatherBug allows advertisers to run ads based on specific weather conditions such as temperature, pollen count, or air quality. Other new programs enable advertisers to integrate their brand into the
look and feel of the entire site and incorporate WeatherBug data directly into advertising creative.
