A day after Paris-based outdoor media giant JCDecaux declared its desire to acquire even bigger San Antonio, TX-based Clear Channel Outdoor, the latter announced a restructuring of its international
management team. The new team, which report to Global President and COO Paul Meyer, include:
* Jonathan Bevan, international chief financial officer and director of corporate development.
* Barry Sayer, newly appointed regional president for the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the company's 13 African markets, including South Africa. * Hubert Janvier, newly appointed
regional president, Southern Europe, which includes France, Spain, Italy and Belgium. * Rickard Hedland, newly appointed regional president, Northern and Eastern Europe. * Mark
Thewlis, regional president, Asia Pacific.
Barry Sayer, who has been serving concurrently as CEO for the company's African business and interim CEO for the United Kingdom, has also been named the
UK's permanent CEO. Rickard Hedlund was previously the company's CEO for Northern Europe. Hubert Janvier had been the company's CEO for Belgium and Spain.
