Travel price comparison site FareCompare.com has joined the Travel Ad Network, which serves graphical advertisements across 40 travel-related Web sites, including RealTravel, Lonely Planet, and
IgoUgo. FareCompare.com is a relatively small travel site in its competitive space, with 81,000 unique visitors in October, compared to sites like Expedia.com and Orbitz.com, which over the same
period received 22 million and 11 million unique users respectively, according to comScore Media Metrix. The Travel Ad Network claims a total audience of 8 million monthly unique visitors.
