Wondering what's on mobile TV? Telecom research firm Telephia has assembled a catalog of more than 2,000 mobile video titles available through Cingular, Sprint and Verizon Wireless and encompassing
both downloadable clips and streaming video. Collected during September 2006, the directory spans everything from the Tonight Show with Jay Leno to ToonWorldTV to MobiTrailers. With a wide selection
of mobile video now available, Telephia said that carriers need to focus on improving navigation. The firm's research also shows that frustration with existing mobile video services stems from service
quality issues. Low video quality and slow connection times were cited as the top reasons for customer dissatisfaction. ITelephia's next mobile video report, due out in early 2007, will include
viewership data gathered from its panel of more than 500 mobile video users.
