Tom Brokaw has signed a new 10-year contract keeping him at NBC through 2014. After stepping down as anchor and managing editor of "NBC Nightly News" on Dec. 1, Brokaw will anchor and produce
documentaries on a wide range of issues for the NBC television network and for other NBC properties. In addition to his documentary work, Brokaw will participate in coverage of major news events as
an analyst. A bestselling author, he also plans to continue his writing career.
