The Audit Bureau of Circulations' (ABC) Board of Directors has voted unanimously to elect Robert Troutbeck, president of Troutbeck Chernoff in Toronto, Ontario, to succeed retiring Chairman Michael
Browner. Troutbeck will serve the remainder of Browner's one-year term and become eligible for re-election at the November 2004 Board Meeting. Troutbeck has served on ABC's numerous Board-level
committees, notably as chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee where he was one of the driving forces behind the creation of the ABC newspaper Reader Profile Service and as Chair of ABC's Annual
Conference. Troutbeck previously served in executive capacities with McCann-Erickson Canada and also served on its Board of Directors.
