The Internet ratings for the week ending August 27 from Nielsen//NetRatings shows a spike in traffic to entertainment sites.

CBS' site soared nearly 45% to over 1.1 million unique visitors. Forty percent of those visiting the site surfed the pages featuring Survivor news. Traffic to Entertainment Weekly's website jumped more than 70% at work to 355,000 unique visitors. EW also attracted "Survivor" fans as 17% of the site's total unique visitors came to read about the reality-based program. Eonline attracted 47% more visitors than the previous week, which equated to 939,000 unique visitors.

TOP 25 WEBSITES BY PROPERTY AOL websites, with a unique audience of 28,997,000 and each user spending an average of 0:13:16 hours, were the favorite for at-home users during the week of August 21-27, according to Nilsen//NetRatings. It was followed by Yahoo! (25,826,000, 0:28:35), MSN (19,715,000, 0:22:27), Microsoft (16,476,000, 0:05:52), Lycos Network (9,617,000, 0:09:34), Excite@Home (8,980,000, 0:15:15), GO Network (7,758,000, 0:14:36), Time Warner (5,223,000, 0:09:27), eBay (5,065,000, 0:53:41), eUniverse Network (5,025,000, 0:08:32), About.com (4,936,000, 0:06:52), AltaVista (4,860,000, 0:09:37), NBC Internet (4,441,000, 0:07:27), iWon.com Inc.
