At the TV Critics Assn. tour on Friday, Sci Fi announced that it was launching a new "Flash Gordon" series, based on the superhero comic strip. The series is comprised of 22 one-hour episodes. Other
projects include an unnamed thriller by Darren Star, who produced "Sex and the City."
