Bango Launches Analytics Service

Mobile content developer Bango Thursday announced Bango Vision, a new tracking and analytics service that promises to give clients a better understanding of consumer habits and trends. Bango Vision lets mobile sites identify new and repeat visitors, track users' country of origin and wireless network, and target users in different countries with different campaigns, among other functions. The tracking service is aimed in particular at ad-supported mobile sites or brands developing a mobile strategy that doesn't include premium content. Separately, Bango, which trades on the London Exchange, said it expects to lose about $5.5 million on revenue of $20 million in its 2007 fiscal year.
