ABC: Ad Agencies Want Web Site Audits

More than two in three ad agencies recently surveyed by the Audit Bureau of Circulations said they would prefer to advertise on Web sites that are independently audited, the ABC reported Thursday. Ninety-one percent of respondents said audting ad impressions and delivery was important, while 89% thought it was important to monitor Web site traffic. The ABC also found that 83% of respondents said they will increase online ad spending this year, with the majority expecting double-digit increases.
