Lowe's knows what you'll be doing next Halloween: Watching your crazy neighbors grow ginormous pumpkins, right on their front lawn.

The company yesterday announced its Great Pumpkin Grow-Along Challenge, "an interactive opportunity for seasoned and beginning growers to learn to care for and grow prized pumpkins."

To start with, the company is selling seeds for Dill's Atlantic Giant for $2.47. The record for this variety of pumpkin, which the company says consistently produces fruit between 400 and 500 pounds, is 1,092 big ones.
