Electronic Arts, iTunes Offer Game Soundtrack Playlists

Game publishing giant Electronic Arts Thursday began offering playlists through iTunes of the soundtracks of its games, including original works comissioned for the titles as well as licensed tracks. Artists offered include Good Charlotte, Jet, Franz Ferdinand, Scissor Sisters, Arctic Monkeys, from titles like Burnout Dominator, SSX Blur, and Def Jam Fight for New York. Other publishers have previously released game soundtracks to iTunes as well. Squaresoft sells a line of soundtracks from its popular Final Fantasy franchise online.
