TechTarget announced yesterday that it will be converting nearly 100 of its email newsletter titles to a qualified, direct-request circulation model. The move is designed to help the company's
advertisers target their audiences with greater precision. Unqualified subscribers - who will continue to receive the email newsletters - will not be included in the advertiser rate base. "Our switch
to a controlled, qualified, direct-request circulation will enable our advertisers to reach their target audience with the most efficient and effective e-mail newsletters in the industry," said
TechTarget chief executive officer Greg Strakosch in a press release.
