Enterprise Rent-A-Car has agreed to purchase Tulsa, Okla.-based Vanguard Car Rental Group, which operates the National and Alamo rental car brands that serve the airport segment of the
market.
Enterprise, based in St. Louis, focuses on in-town and insurance replacement industry segments, ensuring that the merger will be complementary.
The acquisition is expected to
close later this year. Financial terms were not disclosed in the announcement.
