AARP Mag Hits the Road

AARP The Magazine will kick off its annual road show on May 15 in Delray Beach, FL. The 16-city tour is designed to offer 50-plus consumers everything from contests and exhibits to free health screenings and cooking demos, as well as information about the AARP Foundation National Hiring Partnership with Home Depot.

"Our road show has gained in popularity each year among AARP Publications advertisers and consumers alike," said group publisher Jim Fishman in a press release. "It delivers a cross-platform opportunity for advertisers to connect face-to-face with tens of thousands of consumers from summer to fall - a peak selling season for many products and services."

Advertisers already lined up for the road show include Atkins, GNC, Hertz, Suzuki and Random House Large Print.
