Smithsonian Network Signs With Top Global Producers

The Smithsonian Network has secured deals with top producers and global broadcasters to showcase more than 100 hours of HD programs, including original documentaries, short-subject explorations, and programs highlighting America's historical, cultural and scientific heritage. David Royle, executive vice president for programming and production, said: "The Smithsonian name represents the highest quality and integrity .. we continue to look for programming that entertains, inspires and educates."
