Financial news site TheStreet.com reported a record first-quarter revenue of $14.5 million on Thursday, up 30% from the same quarter last year.
The company attributed part of the
boom to a rise in ad revenue, with CEO and chairman Thomas. J. Clarke Jr. saying in a statement: "Advertising now comprises 35% of our total revenue mix and we are well positioned to meet our
strategic goal of advertising revenue comprising 50% of total revenue by the end of 2008."
