Draftfcb New York Names SVP for User Experience

Draftfcb New York has hired Jackson Young to fill the new position of senior vice president/director of user experience architecture with responsibility for leading the digital practice's user experience team to define consumer experiences across multiple platforms, including the Web, mobile phones, kiosks, interactive TV and emerging categories. He will report to Timothy Bruns, executive vice president/executive creative director, and Brad Kay, executive vice president/executive director, who lead Draftfcb New York's digital practice.

Young most recently served as director of user experience design for MTV Networks' digital division, where he managed information architecture and user experience design for MTV.com, the MTV Overdrive Broadband Video Channel and VH1. He has also served as the director of IA for Rare Medium, a New York interactive agency, and was lead strategist for Dennis Interactive.

Young also worked with Edwin Schlossberg of ESI Design on large-scale museum interactive projects such as NASA's Kennedy Space Center Museum re-design in Florida and Pope John Paul II Cultural Center in Washington DC. He produced four video games for Viacom New Media and created many innovative children's educational software concepts for Thirteen/WNET's New Media Group.
