Digital marketing agency Carat Fusion has hired veteran creative strategist Rob Hollander in a new executive-level position to oversee a range of content and marketing strategies. As Carat's new
senior vice president of Content Strategy, Hollander will work with agency stakeholders and clients to identify and develop multi-channel content.
Hollander, who will be based out
of Carat's L.A. office, most recently served as a senior partner and Worldwide Group Creative Director for Ogilvy & Mather--where he headed up integrated marketing programs for such clients like
Mattel, Disney and Freemantle Media.
Hollander comes to Carat Fusion with significant experience in strategic marketing, brand building, team leadership and digital production. His extensive
agency background has given him production experience spanning television, film, animation, CGI, multimedia special effects and interactive media.
Prior to Ogilvy, Hollander co-founded marketing
services company MagickBox, which serves a number of top-tier clients, including Bank of America, K-Swiss Athletic Shoes, Time Warner Digital and Warner Bros.
Hollander's experience before
MagickBox included a position as senior vice president, group creative director at Grey Advertising and Grey Interactive Worldwide in New York, where he headed up accounts such as Hasbro, Konami of
America and Kraft Foods.
"Rob will give our agency additional expertise in helping clients match content, media and technology strategies to best build their brands," said Scott Sorokin,
President of Carat Fusion. "His extensive background in developing cross-media content and creating integrated programs is a perfect fit for this senior role."
