The American Society of Magazine Editors presented the 2007 National Magazine Awards, a prestigious editorial honor. There are 25 categories for both print and online publications. In the general
excellence category, the following took home top honors for general excellence:
National Geographic (over 2,000,000 circulation);
Rolling Stone (1,000,000 to 2,000,000 circulation;
Wired (500,000 to 1,000,000 circulation);
New York (250,000 to 500,000 circulation);
Foreign Policy (100,000 to 250,000 circulation); and
Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists
(under 100,000 circulation).
