PermissionTV yesterday said it forged a strategic alliance with Omnicom's Agency.com to create custom broadband experiences for their respective clients, and a second partnership with Hollywood's
Metropolitan Talent Agency designed to accelerate the adoption of its video platform by additional ad agencies as well as content owners and producers.
Agency.com will use
PermissionTV's Internet TV technology platform as a base to build original broadband experiences for its clients, while PermissionTV will use Agency.com's interactive creative expertise and Flash
technology skills to serve its own clients.
Metropolitan Talent Agency said it had tested and analyzed a number of broadband video offerings over the past few years before choosing PermissionTV.
Chris Barrett, CEO and owner of the agency, said MTA "looks forward to serving as ambassadors for PermissionTV to Hollywood and the broader communications industry."
Permission TV currently
provides the broadband TV platform for such brands as Fox's myNetworkTV, Toyota's Scion, FHM Magazine, Intercontinental Hotels, BobVilla.com, and Update Hollywood.
Agency.com's clients include 3M,
British Airways, BT, eBay, HP, T-Mobile and Visa.
