Azteca America has appointed Karen Davis as executive vice president of marketing. Davis, a veteran of Hispanic TV, will be based in Azteca's Century City, Calif., headquarters. She was one of the
founding members of MTV Latino, the first creative director for HBO's international ventures, and was named by Universal, Paramount, Fox and MGM to head their movie channel, Cinecanal, in Latin
America.
